According to the State Commissioner of Police,Mr Mohammed Ndabawa,5 out of the 13 people arrested,11 people,including the Cheif of Omuokiri have been charged to court in connection with the brutal lynching and murder of the four UNIPORT STUDENTS last week Friday.
Speaking through the Deputy Police Commissioner, Mr Thomas Etomi,it was revealed that,2 were kept in custody to aid the police investigation
He said this when the Executive Secretary of the National Human rights Commission, Prof Ben Agwe and his team visited him at the Police headquarters in Port Harcourt.He assured that the Police would unearth all details relating to the murder, adding that the Commission would be kept abreast with minute developments from the Police angle on the issue.
