Gate Crashers
Quite a number of people gave out their invites to friends who were overjoyed to attend even if they didn’t know Annie and 2face personally. They made it worse by coming with other friends who were equally not invited.
Invite Screening
Even if 2face decided to get married on the moon, it’s certain non-invited guests will do anything to be in attendance, and this was clearly evident in Dubai. Screening before entry was tight but trust Nigerians to always find a way around the toughest situations.
2Face & Annie’s Love Boat
After having a huge turnout of guests, things got even more interesting as it became the survival of the fittest to get on the ferry that conveyed everyone to the venue of the reception which was ‘The Royal Beach Island’.
It wasn’t easy even for 2face and Annie to get onto their own love boat. 2face who hardly ever gets angry complained bitterly about it to those already on board. “Ol’boy, Na wao, to enter my own boat na wahala, our own boat o”.
Security Guards force their way on board.
The workers on the boat kept shouting “Move back, you will die”; scared that people might fall inside the water as they tried to force their way in. Twice Senator Florence Ita Giwa tried to get in but she was pushed back. The organizers begged her for patience as they tried to get her on board but it didn’t work. There was nothing like VIP entry into the boat.
She later went home. After all, she lives like a queen in her beautiful house in Dubai. Wunmi Obe also could not attend the Beach Island reception as she could not get into the boat.
Clueless Organizers
They may have successfully organized big weddings but 2face and Annie Idibia’s wedding organizers should have known that this particular wedding would be a different kettle of fish altogether. A handful of fans came from different parts of the world believing they would get in and they did.
One member of the organising team, Naomi Adenuga was very rude to guests. “I don’t care if you are a dignitary or celebrity, get off the boat”, she shouted; insisting on the black card which was distributed at the venue to their own friends and people as the new authentic invite to the boat; ignoring many invited guests that flew in with their own money.

It’s a lot easier to cross into acting from singing but a lot harder to cross into singing from acting. If after her first single, she got better people to coach and produce her songs, she might not have complained so much but there was no improvement.

Steven A. Cohen, whose SAC Capital just settled two insider-trading lawsuits with the government for $616 million, bought himself the belated gift after first agreeing to but it for $139milllion in 2006 from Vegas mogul Steve Wynn.

But Wynn - former owner of the Bellagio and Mirage hotels in Vegas - put his elbow through the 1932 painting while he was showing it off to friends the day after the sale was agreed and caused a six-inch tear in it.

\OMG!I witnessed the most hilarious scene ever and I couldn't wait to get home and share it with you all.I was at Shoprite Ikeja around 7:30pm and this cute looking couple were beside me.The lady,light=skinned,Brazilian hair,Bold 5.
The guy was dangling a car key.Big boy apparently.I noticed them because of the large amount of purchases they had in their trolley and while searching for a less crowded line,theirs seemed to be fair enough.
So,I stood and she began to offload her purchases on the cash counter.Meanwhile,the guy was just standing.At a point in time,he placed his hand on her shoulder.She then took a snicker chocolate bar and added to the lot.The guy smiled.I rolled my eyes
The cashier then said "26,185 thousand.
Then the girl was putting the purchases in the bags,The guy was standing,the cashier was waiting,,our line was getting longer.
The girl then looked at the guy and said"Honey,pay now".

Blogger’s Diary- My encounter with a Daddy’s boy
You think mummy's boys are a dating nightmare, have a re-think because,we now have Daddy's boys. These are the worst set of guys any woman can date. Yes, they are old enough to fend for themselves but still live at home with daddy, drive daddy's cars and eat dad's food.
Sometime last year, a friend of mine met this popular Nigerian celebrity DJ.An epitome of handsomeness and well traveled, she excitedly told me how she had snagged one of Nigeria's hottest bachelors.
However, there was a little problem. ..She had known him for over two months and he never invited her home. He always brought up the excuse that he was busy. As long as he hadn't had sex with her, there was no reason to panic.
So, one fateful day, out of the blue, he invited her over at night. So after a musical show, she went along with him in his jeep (oops! hope this doesn't give away his identity .lol) and as ladies do, we resorted to BB communication.
She told me how they were driving towards Lekki phase1 and I was like "big boy! Wow he lives in lekki" So we continued our bb chatter till they arrived at his house "OMG! Emeh this guy lives in a mansion "she told me.""Seriously? How big?" I inquired.
She told me it was a duplex and that they just pulled into the compound and that there were several exotic cars parked in there. "U don hammer oh" The materialistic side of me congratulated her "Don't sleep with him, don't kiss,bla bla bla"I gave her advise which ladies presume will make a man ask for a 2nd date"(story)
I was just about to ask how the interior part of our new inlaw's (yes we are that fast.lol) house looks when she pinged me "Emeh,u won't believe what happened now"..."Omg,he gave u one of the cars"(wink).."No! Dammit, I'm in the bush"
"Bush in Lekki?I don't understand. Thought u were inside his mansion"? I replied with a confused smiley
"Don't you get it? The door opened, an elderly man walked out and this guy just shoved me behind the flower hedge and asked me to hide."

Honestly, I was shocked. I didn't know if to laugh or console her" .I just said" since it’s not a woman, no need to panic. He probably doesn't want the man to see you. Who's the man anyway"?

At that point in time, it was clear, this big boy was a daddy's boy, still in his dad's house ,riding his dad's cars and eating his dad's food.
Fast-forward to 20mins later, he sneaked my flabbergasted friend though the kitchen, into his tiny room .This is the same room he has been using since he was a kid. He jumped at the slightest sound of his father's voice.(James..fake name..yes daddy)he would scurry out like a rat not forgetting to gesture his finger over his mouth,indicating she shouldn't make noise.
My friend had to hide in the bathroom three times that night when his dad came knocking. My friend was like a prisoner, she couldn't cough, couldn't talk, all because he didn't want his dad to know he had a lady over.
The next day, after swearing for his generation, I vowed never to be in that position and mapped out a strategy to avoid daddy’s boys,
-Any young man below 30,driving a jeep, living in Lekki,VGC,Banana Island,is definitely a daddy’s boy..
Then 3 months later, I met this handsome darker version of Lynxx. He was everything a daddy’s boy was not. He was 32(ripe for marriage),he was riding a 2011 Toyota Camry, was working in a construction company and lived on the island.
Every time we chatted, he would say” You should come to “MY” house..I felt I was on cloud 9.Wow!,he has his own house.
So one fateful weekend we had a date at the beach and since it was on the island, he decided to take me and my friend to see his house.
We were in his sleek car, chatting away happily as he drove into VGC(Victoria Garden City). At that point, I was a little taken aback. This place has got to be expensive, but I consoled myself with the fact that, he might be renting a boys quarters or a little apartment (not too bad for a Bachelor).
So we got to his street and someone was waiving him down frantically, but he ignored him by saying” Just one of my boys around” So,I shrugged it off and as we got to the gate of an exquisite mansion, the security guy opened the gate and we drove in. He packed the car, smiled and said” Welcome to my humble home”. It’s a pleasure” I and my friend chorused with plastered smiles.
As he stepped down, the guard rushed up to him and said “Oga dey o”
I watched my prince charming’s face transform instantly wearing a shocked expression” Oga dey,where ,how?
I was confused when he said ermmm you know what, my uncle is back.He wasn't supposed to come back today..
“WHAT”! I exclaimed. You live with your uncle? As I was still trying to take the latest information in,an elderly man’s voice could be heard laughing heartily and approaching us from inside.
My date turned around in near tears”Emeh please,just enter the back of the car with your friend and sit till he passes. He’s a pain in the butt….i blocked my ears to the sound of his voice and instead of Lynxx,I saw shrek..I just winked at my friend and we stormed out just in time to hear the uncle say”Who are those ladies”?
“Wrong house, wrong house” he stammered….
At that moment, I vowed..never again will I encounter a daddy’s boy..sitting opposite a young handsome man a few months later, I asked” So where do you stay”? Oh,I stay in Ajao Estate” he replied..I smiled to myself “I’d be dammed if this one’s a daddy’s boy” and I was right” He sure wasn't as we rode away in his 1994 Toyota camry….

Four men who posed as EFCC to defraud Benue State Governor of $3m arrested
The accused persons, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, were alleged to have conspired to falsely present themselves as officers of EFCC who are investigating the accounts of Benue State Local Government and had sought for the sum of three million US Dollars to “kill” the case.
In a bid to actualize the scheme, one of them, Bulus Ashom Agom, who was dismissed from the Nigerian Police Force in June 2012, was alleged to have forged a Nigerian Police warrant of arrest card no 35231 which he presented to the governor.
Thereafter, Governor Suswan alerted the Department of State Security, DSS which arrested and handed them over to the EFCC. It was at EFCC office that Bulus and Nuhu Bawa Attangs made statements that led to the arrest of others.
Having taken their plea, Prosecution Counsel, J.O Uzor, asked that they be remanded in prison custody and requested for a date to commence trial. This was opposed by the defence counsel, E.A. kume for the first accused and Izang Aware for the second, third and fourth accused persons.
Justice Kpojime however granted bail to the accused in the sum of N200, 000 each and a surety in like sum. He said that the surety must be a civil servant in the service of Benue State Government who must not be less than grade level 12. He further said that all sureties and accused persons must deposit their passport photographs. The case was adjourned to May 15, 2013 for trial.

Oscar Pistorius now free to travel internationally,return to his home
He will also be allowed to return to his home in Pretoria, where Reeva Steenkamp was shot and killed.He denies murdering the 29-year-old, saying he mistook her for an intruder.
In the hearing at Pretoria's High Court, Mr Pistorius also sought an end to supervision by a probation officer and compulsory drug and alcohol testing.
The state opposed the application. Mr Pistorius, 26, was not in court for the hearing.
Seeking income
The bail conditions were imposed by Magistrate Desmond Nair on 22 February - including the travel restrictions.
Mr Pistorius was originally ordered to hand over his two South African passports, avoid his home in Pretoria and all witnesses in the case, report to a police station twice a week and to abstain from drinking alcohol.
But they were relaxed but Judge Bert Bam, who described the decision not to grant Mr Pistorius permission to travel as "wrong".
Defence lawyer Barry Roux said the bail conditions amounted to "house arrest".
"Why would this athlete go to a country without extradition and go and hide," he asked the court.
"It is not as if the appellant is travelling for holiday in Mauritius; it's only to gain an income, there's no other reason."
Reports said the athlete had not yet resumed training and had no current plans to compete internationally.
In an unrelated case, the athlete's brother, Carl Pistorius, appeared in court on Wednesday charged with the culpable homicide of a female motorcyclist in a 2008 road crash. He pleaded not guilty and is due to appear in court again next week

Must Read-Charly Boy's take on the Oga at the Top Saga
Even though, my ways may be very different from yours, I still believe we must be objective in our analysis, judgment, and conclusion about others. The NSCDC Commandant, Mr. Shem's experience in the hands of Nigerians and the Channel TV personalities cannot be too different from what many of us face on a daily bases.
Some of us have been arbitrarily judged, smashed, squeezed, criticized, and battered for several years because we have failed to be who they want us to be. Different darts and missiles have been thrown at us because they chose to judge us from the first impression they conceived about us. What insult haven't we received?
They will try to judge you by the few words they hear from your mouth. When you use signs and symbols to communicate national issues, they misconstrue every bit of it as you are either tagged the head of Nigeria Illuminati, or they may even try to put your sexuality to question. However, we still love them, and still fight for them even when they don't really understand why we are here.
Some have not even realized the need to hold on to the reality that confronts them today, instead, they are committed to producing gunpowder for the celebration of individual blunder, and they swiftly push national blunder aside.
Yes, the NSCDC Commandant goofed, he failed to give the correct NSCDC website, he wanted his oga at the top to announce that personally, hence he couldn't go ahead to announce it, as his oga may end up announcing another one later.
At first, it appeared to me as if he didn't understand the question until he got to the point of providing the URL of the website, and then we all laughed when he was unable to provide the web address as demanded. We all laughed at his little or no IT knowledge, and not really because he is not competent enough to do his job. We all laughed because he had displayed some level of confidence right from the beginning of the interview till the point he was to give the website details.
However, is it enough to have made it a trending topic on twitter and on other social sites for days? I must say that we have all failed by pushing aside the lesson and the message of the controversial interview. If you don't know, the message is simple; there is a systemic failure. We have all failed our country.
We have even failed to channel our heavy online presence towards a more positive direction. We have failed to understand that the entire system has no structure as it stands now. If that is not the case, why were we not intelligent enough to see beyond Mr. Shem's failure and begin to reflect over leadership failure, using the social media platform? It has always remained this way, where only few of us can speak our minds in a country where mediocrity reigns supreme.
We have failed to see how mediocre now flood the civil service , but all we are now looking at ,is just Mr. Shem's blunder. Why???
Members of staff in several organizations know little or nothing about their organization. They can't even tell 'categorically' like Mr. Shem, whether they have an existing or functional website. How effective are various media units that are scattered across different Ministries in the country? NSCDC should even thank God that it was Mr. Shem who failed, and not their media unit, because such would have been possible.
I know that majority of Nigerians that work in the civil service are not up to date with the internet social world, as they believe in doing things the old way. You won't even blame Mr. Shem for not being able to give the correct web address or not being able to add dot.com, because the NSCDC Website, prior to the controversy was almost dormant. How would you expect one to know a website that doesn't exist or non-functional?
But my pain is simply that we have all failed to tackle the most pressing issues of the day, falling into the trap and deception of the phrase "My oga at the top". We have been so deceived and then became so careless about our safety, laughing hysterically; with our eyes gazed at "My Oga at the top" until the dreaded Boko Haram found a way to shoot us with their arrows. We laughed until we forgot that we have urgent national issues to address, and the faceless ones hit us hard again in the city of Kano. What a shame!
While we were busy gossiping, creating cartoons, producing T. Shirts, and cooking beats in the studio to ridicule just a single individual, we lost millions of naira at the Murtula Mohammed Airport, Lagos to some armed men who stormed the airport, harassing both Nigerians and foreigners. I heard they had a swell moment at the airport. You can't just imagine that armed robbers could succeed even in an International Airport. Where is safe then? "Yet, we were busy with My oga at the top"
While we took the joke to another level, the Boko Haram militants also saw our weaknesses and carefree attitude, and they hit us hard, killing well over 60 people in the Kano bomb attack. They beat all security apparatus in place in the volatile city, because, we refused to watch our back as we were laughing at " My Oga at the top"
In our usual carelessness, when some people were demanding for amnesty for some faceless people, we kept mummed, because we were only interested in "Oga at the top." We refused to ask questions on why some people should be advocating for this group.
As good, committed, and patriotic citizens, couldn't we have embarked on a campaign against violence using the social media platform for that purpose? How many of us are willing to laugh at some of the ogas in the North who have sold the future of our children in the name of leadership tussle? How many of us have been able to tell the Northern leaders that they have failed their people for giving some terrorists the supports they really do not deserve? Yet, we still talk about "My Oga at the top"
These are no time for such jokes as we have better and serious issues to address as Nigerian youth and children. Enough of this "My oga at the top" Stop the rubbish now! Let's ask them some questions on why we must continue to bury our ourselves.

"Get ready to give us a warm welcome"-Robbers letter to Residents in Ogun
The daredevil men of the underworld who described themselves as friends of the community said in the letter written in Yoruba language and pasted conspicuously on many walls on Akin Akindele, Community Road and Jelili Popoola Streets, that they are coming ‘very soon’ and are not afraid of the police or other security agencies.
The letter reads, “You residents of this area be prepared to receive your friends very soon. If you like, inform the police or your security men or OPC, you will just lose your lives. What is important is to cooperate with us and to get ready to give us a warm welcome,” the robbers said in the short letter.
“If you like, inform the police or your security men or OPC, you will just lose your lives,” they warned.
The letter ends with these words, “We your friends, robbers”.
Panic and confusion had since enveloped the community with a resident describing Lambe as ‘the playground of armed robbers.’
“Lambe has become the play ground of armed robbers. Incessant robbery attacks have forced landlords to flee the area and are now tenants in other places,” he said, pleading that his name should not be mentioned.
Landlords and tenants in the area are so confused that they do not know what to do and are prepared for the worst. Due to fear of the unknown, residents of the community are so scared to talk about the issue.
A resident, who does not want his name disclosed, said he will not inform the police as there might be mass killings.
“Besides, the police and the OPC cannot be trusted because they may be aware of their coming and will not do anything,” he said.
A female resident said her family will relocate from the community this week. She said her family needs money to celebrate Easter, explaining that the residents are worried because of the lack of security in the country.
She revealed that none of the residents wants to talk about it because “the robbers might be living among us.”“ I have warned my husband to stay away from this matter because you do not know who is who in the area, “she said.
Another resident in the community said since they received the letter, most residents do not sleep again at night and the landlords and tenants are afraid to even inform the police or talk about it because those behind the letters could be among them.
According to information made available to DailyPost, one of suspects behind the impudent letters was arrested in the night at about 1.00 am and handed over to the police at Ajunwo Police Division.
However, efforts to reach the station’s DPO were futile as his phone rang endlessly unanswered.

Chris Brown's Candid confession on how he got Rihanna back
The singer says that he tried his best to reform himself over the years until the couple recently reconciled and that he was never sure that Rihanna would even speak to him again.

Man hires two to rape sisters over inheritance
The suspect was said to have been arrested with the two allegedly paid rapists after they had raped and robbed the two ladies who are 16 and 18 years.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi, disclosed this yesterday, adding that the suspect paid the two alleged rapists N80,000 before they committed the act.
He said: “The two other persons arrested with the 40-year-old man are those who eventually raped and robbed the two sisters aged 18 and 16 years.
“He gave the two suspects N80,000 to harass, molest and threaten his sisters who had disagreed with him over sharing formula of their late parent’s inheritance.
“You can speak with him as he had already confessed to the crime. So it’s a very straight forward case and we are charging three of them to court tomorrow.“
In his reaction, the suspect said it was true that he hired two persons to deal with his two sisters over their parents’ inheritances.
He said: “I just asked them to threaten my sisters so that they can leave the property for me. I never paid then to rape my sisters as they have done.”
