I'm so happy.Really happy because what started as a joke has now become a big time obsession for me.My blog clocked a year today and its been I beautiful year of amazing stories, interesting finds and happy/sad occurrences.
My love goes to my beloved father whose death spurred me to start blogging.Out of the loneliness and pain I felt last year, I decided to create an avenue to pen down my thoughts and feelings with who ever comes across it.To my greatest surprise, the visitors, comments started pouring in and I gradually metamorphosed from blogging about my daily occurrences to general news and events. Even in absentia, he remains my biggest inspiration.
I also thank Linda Ikeji for inspiring me personally to start a blog.She featured me as her "Beauty of the Day" and added my blog to her list a few days after I started.It is such a big deal and that has helped me in immense ways I cant explain.She also featured me on her Who wore it best" category. .Do I have to emphasize how much publicity that brought me?
I thank all the wonderful readers who have consistently visited, read, dropped comments, criticized , and encouraged me.I watched my stat counter grow from 1 to the over 308, 000 viewers it is now. Special shout out to those who dropped every one of the over 1,600 comments.
Comments really encourage bloggers because blogging without comments is like knocking on a door without a response(especially knowing someone is inside) .
I know I also went on sabbatical for a few months and was shocked to see visitors still trooped in daily.

I also noticed most of my visitors are from the USA, followed by the UK, canada,Nigeria. They say charity begins at home.So i recently resolved to post more Nigerian news and gists.
I also noticed I get more hits and comments when I write original /creative stories about my life experiences.So I am going to post one creative story every 2 days to feed the thirst of my readers
