UPDATE from reader who said her husband wants a divorce if she doesn't circumcise their girl child

You'all recall MPN reader Halima who said she was thinking of running away because her husband was insisting on circumcising their 4 month old daughter. She said he was also threatening to divorce her..

I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate the fact that you took time out to put my story on you blog. Your readers were very helpful. None of them were rude and I appreciate that very much. 

I apologize if this is too much of a hassle but I'd really appreciate if you let your readers know that I took their advice. 

I left for England to meet my parents yesterday morning with my baby girl. As I write this, I've gotten myself and my baby an apartment and Abdul and I are currently separated. 

He wants a divorce but I believe that's alright. I'm no longer scared of divorcing such a man. If raising my  daughter alone is the price I have to pay just so she doesn't have to be circumcised, I'm willing to do so! I'm also set to gain full custody of our daughter as he said he wants nothing to do with any female that isn't circumcised. (Left me wondering why he married me then! In not circumcised an didn't believe in it!) 

Emeh, I thank you for your kindness and I truly appreciate it. This is one o the best decisions I have made in my life and all thanks goes to you and your readers.
